Electric Jalopy Productions is headed by Toronto based filmmaker Isaac Rathé.

While studying at the University of Toronto, Isaac Wrote, Produced, Directed, and Edited his debut feature, the aquatic set “Duel on the River.” Shot primarily on open water with a budget of approximately $2,000, the film premiered at the Chattanooga Film Festival in 2021.

Isaac wrote, directed, and edited the short film “Any Last Words” with the Toronto based sketch comedy collective Friendly Fire Productions which premiered at the SPASM Film Festival in Montreal in 2024, followed by a Toronto premiere at Blood in the Snow.

In April 2026 Electric Jalopy Productions in collaboration with The Dot Film Company wrapped principle photography on Rathé’s sophomore feature film. “The Dweller” is expected to hit the festival season in the fall of 2027.
